One Major Traffic Jam

The crowds coming to Woodstock started arriving a few days before the festival and created a 10 mile long traffic jam. Traffic was so bad that many festival-goers abandoned their cars and walked the rest of the way. An estimated 1 million people turned back because of the traffic.
